Mrs. Augusta Kieske, widow of the late Gustave Kieske, passed away at the Lakeview Memorial Hospital Wednesday, September 3, 1930.
Mrs. Kieske, who lived in Oak Park went to the hospital three days before her death. She had been ill for about a year.
Born in Germany, August 5, 1856, daughter of Valentin Schaddock, she came to the United States about 60 years ago. She lived in Wisconsin for 59 years and about ten months ago moved here to reside with her daughter, Mrs. Frank Fehlow. Mr. Kieske died 23 years ago.
Survivors are one son, Fred Kieske, of this city, five daughters, Mrs. Fehlow, Mrs. Theodore Klug of Farmington, Wisc., Mrs. Paul Schranberger of Rochester, Minn., Mrs. Herman Renspe of Rochester, Mrs. Elmer Boucher of Deer Park, Wisc. Two sisters, Mrs. Amos Boyd of Mora, Minn., and Mrs. Herman Hinz of Markeson, Wisc., one brother, John Schaddock of Ladysmith, Wisc., and nine grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at two o'clock at the Lutheran church in Farmington, Rev. Louis Meyers officiating. The body will lie in state at the church one hour before the services. Internment will be in the Farmington cemetery.
