Death early this morning claimed Mrs. Nancy Pyles, aged 70, at the home of her son, Jess Hayes, 1209 California street. A complication of diseases caused the death of Mrs. Pyles, who has been ill for the last several years and bedfast for the last several weeks.
Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Hayes residence. The Rev. Lee Jackson, pastor of the East Columbus church will have charge of the services and burial will be in the Garland Brook cemetery.
Mrs. Pyles, who was widely known and highly respected here, is survived by the son, three grandchildren, three brothers, Ed and Frank Abbott, of Seymour, and William Abbott, of this city, and one sister, Mrs. Anna Eaglin, of Indianapolis.
