Gerald Lee "Jerry" Danaher Sr., 66, of Flora died Wednesday July 3, 2013 at St. Elizabeth Central. He was born February 7, 1947, in Lafayette to the late Albert and Lois Haynes Danaher. He was married for 21 years to Mary Jo McDonald, but they divorced. Jerry worked for St. Elizabeth Hospital for almost 30 years. He later worked for Marsh Supermarket in the produce department, and then Indiana Packers, before retiring. Jerry enjoyed hunting, mushroom hunting, fishing, and spending time with family.

Surviving are his children, Gerald L. Danaher Jr. partner Lee Wilson of Indianapolis; Jeff L. Danaher wife Heather of Evansville; Jennifer L. Malher husband Nathan of Lafayette; grandchildren Riley and Jacob Danaher, and Maxwell Malher. Jerry was preceded in death by a brother, Albert "Butch" V. Danaher Jr.

Visitation will be 5-8 PM Monday at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel. Funeral Service 10:00 AM Tuesday at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel. Burial will be at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens.
