PITTSFIELD, BERKSHIRE Co., MA - Mrs. June Ann (Messer) Maska, ( 65y ) d: June 25, 1990 - former resident of Pittsfield, died Monday at her home at 254 Quarter Circle, Davis, Calif. Born in Pittsfield on July 17, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Walter V. and Albena M. Messer. She was a 1942 graduate of Pittsfield High School and also graduated from the University of Miami and Jackson Memorial Hospital School of X0ray Technology. Mrs. Maska was a World War II Navy veteran and was an X-ray technician in Sacramento, Calif., for many years. She was also the president of the Toast Mistresses Club in Davis. Besides her husband, Stanley Maska, she leaves a son, Rick Maska of Grand Prairie, Texas; six daughters, Mrs. Doreen Allman and Miss Geneil Maska, both of Woodland, Calif., Dr. Linda Copeland of Sacramento, Mrs. Bunny Newberry of Davis, and Miss Maria Maska and Miss Jennifer Maska, both at home; two sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Lyon of Pittsfield and Mrs. Albena Taikowski of North Adams; and five brothers, Walter F., Robert A., Gerald R., Donald F. and Raymond V. Messer, all of Pittsfield. END:
