Obituary from the Edwardsville Intelligencer, Edwardsville, Madison County, Illinois, Tuesday, September 6, 1955, page 2:
  Mrs. Anna B. Meek, 68, of 215 Hickory street died at 1 a.m. Sunday at the Rockwood rest home in Troy.
  She was born March 27, 1887 in Edwardsville, the daughter of the late Mienhard and Katherine Rice Kurmann. She was married to Joseph Meek Oct. 16, 1905 at St. Boniface Catholic church by the late Rev. Metzler. Her husband died, Nov. 3, 1947.
  She is survived by two sons, Elmer and Vincent J., both of Edwardsville; one daughter, Mrs. Hilda Lattray of St. Louis; two brothers, Ben of Edwardsville and Joseph, of Granite City; one sister, Mrs. Emma Evans of Miami, Fla.  Also surviving are five grandchildren.
  The rosary will be said at 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Straube funeral home. Funeral services will be held at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday from the funeral home and at 9 a.m. from St. Boniface Catholic church, of which the deceased was a member. The Rev. George E. Faller will officiate.
  Burial will be in Calvary cemetery.

Pallbearers were Ernest Tosovsky Sr., Leonard Kesl, Joe Manns, John Kurman Jr., Roger Hartung and Leonard Meek.
