Viggo C. Anderson, 88, of Blair, died Saturday, Feb. 19, 2000, at Immanuel Hospital in Omaha.

Services are 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2000, at the First Lutheran Church in Blair. Burial is in the Blair Cemetery.

Viggo C. Anderson was born Sept. 16, 1911, to Jens and Jenny (Jacobsen) Anderson in Blair. He was a lifelong resident of the Blair area, where he farmed and produced livestock and was a member of the First Lutheran Church.

He is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Bill and Nancy Anderson and Jim Anderson, all of Blair; a daughter, Alice Weaver of Texarkana, Texas; four grandchildren, Vicki McCorkle, Sandra Weaver and Clark and Grand Anderson; two great-granddaughters, Megan and Katie; and a sister, Mildred Lau of Blair.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Birdie; two sisters, Betty Anderson and Olga Frahm; and two brothers, Russell and Ray Anderson.

Memorials are suggested to the Good Shepherd Home.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
