Herald Coaster, January 27, 1975:

Funeral services for Theodore Bednarek, 62, of Needville were held at 2 p.m. today at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Needville, with the Rev. Ludon Angelle officiating. Burial was in Greenlawn East Garden of Gethsemane. Rosary was recited Sunday at 7:30 p.m. in the Garmany and Co. Chapel in Needville. Mr. Bednarek died Saturday in a Wharton hospital.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Selma Bednarek of Needville; three daughters, Mrs. Delories Macha of Needville, Mrs. Jeannette Krupa of Richmond, Mrs. Sandra Fojtik of Richmond; six sisters, Mrs. Annie Garnoski of Sugar Land, Mrs. Rosie Nowak of Booth, Mrs. Pearl Bowker of McAllen, Mrs. Verna Wooley of Crosby, Mrs. Theresa Stern of Rosenberg, and Mrs. Lorine Smith of Livingston; four grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were under the direction of Garmany & Co. Funeral Directors.

Memorials may be made to the Fort Bend County Cancer Fund.
