Kevin Earl Pence, devoted husband, father, son and brother, passed away at the age of 40 on Wed., Nov. 7, 2007.
He was employed as a deputy sheriff of San Joaquin County for 18 years.
Kevin graduated from Tokay High School in 1985. In 1989 he married his sweetheart, Brenda. They have been married 18 years and have 2 children: Jessica Pence, age 16 and Kevin Pence Jr., age 14.
Kevin took pride in spending time with family, especially watching Jessica dance and Kevin play sports over the years.
Kevin's greatest joys were vacations to Disneyland with extended family to include parents, brother, in-laws, nieces and nephews - as well as camping, hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his loving wife, Brenda Pence; daughter, Jessica Pence, his sweet pea and son, Kevin Pence Jr., his little buddy. He is also survived by his devoted parents, Frank [Earl, Jr.] and Bonnie Pence; brother, Matt Pence and wife, Amber Pence; nephew, Aaron Pence; mother-in-law, Carolyn Mead, and brothers-in-law Brad Mead (Suzie), Brian and Danita Mead and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial service on Monday, Nov. 12, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Berea Baptist Church of Morada, 4847 E. Quashnick Rd. 95212.
Celebration of life to follow at Micke Grove Park at 1:00 p.m., Monday, Nov. 12, 2007.
In lieu of flowers there has been a memorial fund set up at Farmers & Merchants Bank in the Name of Kevin Pence for his 2 children.
