After transfer of this memorial to me, I was searching for record of this marriage between Eccles and Assarson. His first wife died in 1957. His obit states he was married to both women but says nothing about a divorce from the first wife. Obit also says nothing about a marriage between Stewart Eccles and Elizabeth Jane "Betty" Shirts Kimberly as stated on his FAG memorial. I'm researching that marriage too, with no luck. Perhaps LDS records are wrong on the marriage date of Eccles and Assarson.
Ida also had a daughter named Helen Cleone Sloan whom I'm trying to find. Helen lived many years with Ida after Eccles death in a home in the Avenues of Salt Lake City, Utah. At the time of Ida's death, she lived with her daughter in Provo Utah. Perhaps Helen died before Ida.
