The Hitesmans Make Up
After Separation of Two Years They Patch Up Differences.
Alma Hitesman and his wife, Mrs Mary Hitesman, who have been separated for two years have become reconciled and appeared Thursday in the Juvenile court and asked to have their five children restored to them.
Hitesman and his wife appeared in court last December and relinquished all claim to them and asked the court officials to find homes for them. At that time they were each opposed to the other having custody of the children, Mrs Hitesman filed suit against her husband for a divorce and Hitesman brought a counterclaim and the contention was mostly over the custody of the children.
Judge McMaster questioned them closely about their ability to care for the children properly, and then took the matter under advisement. The children have all been found homes temporarily and one family wants to adopt the youngest child. The children are: DeLoide, 3 years old, Rosette, 8 years old, Birtron [Bertrom], 10 years old, and Leona 12 years old.

Husband No Cave Man Is Her Sorrow
Ogden, June 12.
Because her husband failed to qualify in "cave man" stuff, and because never in their married career had her spouse floored her with a vicious blow, are the reasons Rosetta Van Alfen gave when she brought suit against William Van Alfen.
Mr Van Alfen testified today before Judge A E Pratt of the district court that his wife had married him to get a release from the state industrial school, being on parole from the institution. She became acquainted with an individual in Salt Lake who qualified in her opinion as an ideal mate and upon returning to Ogden displayed a black eye, her husband claims.
He also stated his wife smoked cigarets and drank liquor.
A decree of divorce was granted.

Alma B Hitesman, former resident of Lehi and for many years a resident of Salt Lake, died May 8, at Evanston, Wyo., according to information received here. The body will be brought to Salt Lake for funeral and interment. Mr Hitesman was 67 years old.
He is survived by the following children, Mrs Leona Hughes and Rosetta Hitesman of Salt Lake and Bert Hitesman of Roseville, Cal.
