Floyd M. Clark

Floyd M. Clark, aged 71 years, passed away early Wednesday morning at the Lee Memorial Hospital in Fulton. Mr. Clark was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Hiram Clark of Canada and came to Fair Haven when three months old.

Mr. and Mrs. Clark conducted an ice cream parlor and hardware store at the corner of Main and Lake streets for 22 years and later built the Pleasant Beach Hotel, where they have made their home for 27 years.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Anna Smith Clark; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Ware of Bowen's Corners and Mrs. Celestine Ackerman of Belleville, Ont.; one brother, Allen Clark, of Oshawa, Canada, and several nieces
and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'dock at the home of Mr. Clark's niece and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Meade; Rev. H. R. Austin of the United Church will officiate. Interment at Springbrook cemetery.
