Myron Brent Jeppson loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather returned to the arms of his Father in Heaven on Thursday, March 7, 2013 at the age of 78. He and his dear wife Janice are together again.

He was born July 13, 1934 in Archer, Idaho to Myron and Maude Jeppson. He grew up in Ashton, Idaho which he always considered to be "God's country". He met and married his sweetheart in Pocatello, Idaho. They were married on June 1, 1954. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

He was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served faithfully in many callings, including Bishop, High Counselor, Missionary in the Addiction Recovery Program, Stake Athletic Director and many more.

He retired from the Union Pacific Railroad after 44 years of service. He coached WBBA Rose Park Baseball for many years. He officiated high school football, basketball, baseball and softball games for over 30 years. He was inducted into the Utah Officials Hall of Fame in 2008. He enjoyed camping, fishing, horseback riding, four wheeling, sporting events and attending all the activities of his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Brent is survived by five children: Randy (Gerildine) - South Jordan, Robert "Bob"(Shannon) - SLC, Brenda (Lee) Eschler - Woods Cross, Brian - Jonesville, TX, Traci (Tony) Latimer - Lehi; 4 granddaughters, 10 grandsons, 12 great-grandchildren and one to be born this month. One brother, Jay and three sisters Myrna Comstock, Patsy Druce and Dawna Gleason, many brothers and sisters-in-law;nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife Janice, his parents and his sister Lois Kakunes.

Services will be Tuesday, March 12, 2013, 12 noon. Rose Park LDS Stake Center, 760 North 1200 West, SLC. Friends may call Monday 6-8 p.m. Rose Park Stake Center and Tuesday 10:45-11:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment, Redwood Memorial Estates, Funeral Directors, Larkin Mortuary.
