Born July 1781 in Fayette Co, Pa. Married Salome Overturf and had one child John M. Then married Catherine Balsinger and had three more children. Served as a private in Captain McCelland's Company, of Ball's Squadron of Light Dragoons during the War of 1812 with his brother George.
It is suggested that he is buried in this cemetery with his brother's Joseph and Isaac and their family.
