Audrey Burns, 74, of 3549 Plymouth Drive died Sunday in an Augusta hospital. She attended Four Square Gospel Church and was a member of the Moose Lodge. She was an Army Veteran who served during World War II. She was the widow of Henry Clay Burns Jr.

Survivors include: Daughters, Bettie Faye Allen of Florence, S.C., Hilda Nunez of Fernandina Beach, Forida; Sister, Nellie Easters of Lake Park; Brothers, James Astles of Valdosta and Bud Astles of Miller, Mo.; five grandchildren, Winona Darlene Nunez-Pittman {Danny}, Jeffrey Lamar Nunez, Merinda Danette Nunez Powell {Todd},
Sherman Jackson {Jack} Allen Jr. and Martha Elizabeth {Betsy} Allen; and three great-grandchildren, Danny Carroll Pittman Jr., Jacob Lamar Pittman and James {Jack} Charles Powell, several nieces and nephews.

services: 200pm Wednesday in Riverside Cemetery, North gate. The Rev. Ben Cotton will officiate. Visitation: The family will receive friends from 100pm to 145pm Wednesday in Hart's Mortuary. The family may be contacted at the residence.
