Bela A. Couchie of 720 Adams Ave., Salem, died at 10am Thursday at Salem Community Hospital. Born Aug. 4, 1920 in Salem, she was the daughter of the late William John and Hazel (Ayers) Sidinger.
Her husband, Glen G. Couchie, whom she married June 12, 1939, preceded he in death on Aug. 6, 2000.
Survivors include: a daughter, Mrs. Jack (Nancy E.) Hampton of Phoenix, Ariz.; a son, Todd G. (Beverly) Couchie of Salem; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by three brothers.
Services will be held at 11am at the Stark Memorial with Rev. Ross Jackson officiating. Burial will be is Historic Hope Cemetery. Salem News - Saturday, June 30, 2007.
