SALTILLO – Mary Ann Markham, 66, died Friday, Jan. 18, 2013, at her residence after an extended illness. She was born in Memphis, Tenn., on Jan. 27, 1946, to Lafayette Reed and Pauline Davis Taylor. She was an avid animal lover, loved shopping, gardening, cooking, traveling, especially to the Smoky Mountains and spending time with her family. She was Church of Christ by faith.

Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at The Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with the Rev. Charlie Faust officiating. Burial will be in Lee Memorial Park.

Survivors include her husband, Joe Ronald Markham of Saltillo; two daughters, Tracey Adair Marshall (Freddy) of Guntown and Lesley Adair Stanford (Chris) of Saltillo; one stepdaughter, Shanda Michelle Gosa of Winfield, Ala.; and three grandchildren, Jared Marshall, Addison Stanford and Cody Dickerson.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home in Tupelo.
