Services Held for Helene H. Smith

Funeral services for Helene H. Smith, 65, 21017 Neuralia Rd., California City, were held at the California City Community Church on Dec.1, 1971.
Mrs. Smith had worked for the 20th Century Fox Studios for 20 years before moving to California City about 8 years ago. She had been currently employed as a clerk for Great Western Cities.
She was born Oct. 24, 1906 in Minneapollis, Minnesota and passed away in a Ridgecrest hospital on November 28,1971. She was a member of the California City Community Church.
She is survived by her husband, Claude H. Smith, at the home; a brother, Leif Holm, Canada; and two sisters, Dorothy Siegler and Marie Smith, both in Minnesota.
The 11 a.m. services were conducted by the Rev. James W. Chitty. Interment was in the Mojave cemetery. Stickel Mortuaries were in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
