A son of Joshua Blodgett Jr. of Stafford, CT. Birth date information is from U.S. Sons of American Revolution data. His spouse was Mary Riddle.


Benjamin and Mary had 13 children of which a great many moved away to other parts of the country. They were Luther, Joseph, Benjamin, Mary, Rev. Dan, Dr. Perley Davis, Eli, Rev. Heman, Elijah, Rebecca, Hannah, Rev. Constantine, and Caroline.


- Luther, husband of Elizabeth/Betsy Starkweather, 1784 to 1842 is probably buried in Oshkosh Wisconsin or in Ohio.

- Joseph, husband of Maria Allyn and Elutheria Newton, is probably buried in Hudson St Croix County Wisconsin, or possibly - Walworth County. (Hudson is now called Lyons)
