Jayla Marie Hudson, 6, passed away early Friday morning, August 31, 2012 at Hasbro Children's Hospital, due to complications of Cockayne Syndrome, a rare genetic disorder. She was the smiling daughter of Jason and Jennifer (Nott) Hudson of Warwick. Born in Warwick on August 12, 2006, Jayla was a smiling child that brought joy to everyone who was near. A dream came true for her when she was able to meet her favorite Disney character, Tinkerbell, when she went to Florida on a Make A Wish trip. She will be missed by her family, friends and teachers at Drum Rock Early Childhood Center in Warwick.
