Rev. J. W. Manahan died Sunday afternoon at the residence of his son J. M. Manahan in Avon township of heart trouble. He would have been 74 years old today. He leaves five sons : and one daughter. The funeral will be conducted by Elder Broadus of Belle Plaine tomorrow afternoon at 3:00 o'clock and interment will be made in Prairie Lawn cemetery. Mr. Manahan spent his active life in teaching and preaching.
