Miss Kate E. Clarey, 78, 3031 Pierce Street, a longtime Sioux Cityan, died Friday after a long illness.
Miss Clarey was born [to Thomas and Mary McCarty Clarey] onFebruary 7, 1880, in Plymouth County, north of Sioux City. She resided here and in Plymouth County all her life. She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, the Confraternity of that church, and St. Monica guild.
Survivors include a brother, W. H. [William] Clarey of Akron, Colo.
The body was taken to the Perasso Bros. funeral home.
