NORTON – Clara Juanita Wells Bolling, 73, died Tuesday, June 14, 2005, at Norton Community Hospital.

Born in the Needmore community to the late Anderson and Bessie (Robinette) Wells, she was the widow of Albert "Pap" Bolling.

Juanita had a genuine love for life and was always on the go with her family. She was a member of the Guest River Pentecostal Church for over 40 years. 13 brothers and sisters preceded her in death.

She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Rev. Darrell and Mary Bolling, Norton and Harold and Kathy Bolling, Coleman, Fla.; and her daughters and their companions, Clara Reed, Kingsport, Sherry Bolling and Lawrence Lewis, Norton and Crystal Bolling and Dr. Shawn Smith, Morgantown, W.Va. Other survivors include a sister and brother-in-law, Helen and Allen Calhoun, Norton; a special friend and cousin, Mrs. Hattie Sloce of Norton; as well as a host of other family and friends. Her grandchildren are: April Paige, Kimberly Johnson, Rev. Jonathan Bolling, Wendi Reed, Alison Reed and Whitney Bolling. great-grandchildren include: Brittany Branham, Marissa Bolling, Abigail Paige and Matthew Johnson.

The family will receive friends from 6-9 p.m. Thursday at the Hagy & Fawbush Funeral Home in Norton. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the funeral home chapel, with the Rev. Darrell Bolling and the Rev. Jonathan Bolling officiating. Burial will be in the Powell Valley Memorial Gardens.
