Laura Parmenter was the daughter of Allen Parmenter and wife Mary Broedel. She married George Michael Peters on March 31, 1900 in Wabash County, Illinois. Shortly after they married they moved to Washington, where son Charles was born. The marriage ended in divorce. Laura married Bert P. Jones about 1904 and they had two daughters, Viola and Velma. Sometime between 1910-1920 Laura married Hayden Spaulding. They had one son named Hayden.
