My beloved Great-grandpa. He was a wonderful and fun gentleman, a true gentleman. Born the only son of Alfred A. Hoefler and Cecelia Ertle. He married first to Sara S. McGiehan and they had 2 children Arthur, Jr. and Pauline "Polle" Margaret my dear grandmother. Sara sadly died in 1958 they were very happily married for many years. A few years later he married to Mildred Kohl and they stayed married until his death. He worked at the Hoefler family bakery in Brooklyn until it closed and later worked a few different jobs. He was handsome, a great sense of humor, played golf.
