MRS. ALICE H. HAYES
Mrs. Alice H. Hayes, 75, native of Sandgate and widow of George H. Hayes, died Wednesday at the Spurrell Nursing Home here where she had been a patient for five years.
Daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Woodard, she was born in Sandgate on Feb 11, 1887. Her schooling had been received in the Arlington area. She had attended Federated Church in East Arlington.
Her husband died about 30 years ago. Survivors include one son, Edward of East Arlington.
Calling hours will be from 7 to 9 tonight at Hanson-Walbridge Funeral Home in Bennington.
The funeral will be held at the funeral home in Bennington at 1:30 pm Friday with the Federated Church pastor, the Rev. Charles Grande, officiating. Burial will be in the spring in West Arlington.
