Betty was a member of The Salvation Army Church in Brainerd, mn.Where she taught bible study,home league activites for the ladies.She resided on the west side of Lum park for over 40 years. She loved fishing trips that turned into 'rock hunting' so she could bring home the big ones for her rock walls she built mostly herself. She canned jams with her rasberries and Rhubarb,fixed a batch of chicken and dumpling soup all in the same day.She had a flower garden of colorful Moss Roses in her front yard. Her house was always filled with homemade pies and rolls,gingerbread candy houses for Christmas and Bunny Cakes for Easter. She baked bannana bread and donuts for chruch events. A cup of tea was always her favorite at her house,she would have a tea pot of hot water ready for guests the might stop in for a visit. She raised 8 children and 3 grandchildren. She always had a cheerful greeting when answering her cell phone " HELLO, I GOT YA".
