OBITUARY:
Andrew Robert Anderson of Hesston, died at 6:15 p.m. Tuesday, February 17, 1959, at the home of his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. George Snively, of Alexandria, R.D. He suffered a stroke six years ago and had been residing at the Snively home for the past five years.

He was born December 26, 1974, in Penn Township, a son of Henry and Mary J. (Grubb) Anderson. He was married to Amy Bell Corcelius on October 1897, in Marklesburg.

Surviving are his wife and the following children: Herman L. Anderson, Williambsburg; Walter T. Anderson, Milwaukee, Wis.; and Mrs. George (Mary) Snively, Alexandria, R.D. One son preceeded him in death. There are one granddaughter and one great-grandson. Also surviving two sisters, Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Garner of Aitch and Mrs. Annie Ella Rinker of Aitch. One sister and one brother preceded him in death.

He was a member of Jacob's Evangelical and Reformed Church near Hesston. Mr. Anderson was a farmer all his life, owning and operating farms in Morris and Penn Townships.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 20, at 2 p.m. from the Haverstock Memorial home. The Rev. Charles A. Huyette, a former of his church will officiate. Interment will be made in Jacob's (White Church) Cemetery. Friends will be received at the memorial home on Thursday evening. It is the request of the family that flowers be omitted.
