John W. Adams, 82, died on August 29 at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Z. C. Wayland at Chestnut. Funeral services were held at the Magnolia Baptist Church at Saline on August 30. Interment was at Mill Creek Cemetery.
The deceased is survived by his wife, six children, Lewis Adams and Frank Adams of Nacogdoches, Texas; Harley Adams of Coushatta, Mrs. George Evans and Mrs. Z. C. Wayland of Chestnut, and Mrs. J. E. Raburn of Winnfield; and a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
