Middlesex Co. Quarterly Court Records list the death of "Ane Sheply" death two days later on Jul 13.

Close friend of Rev. John Fiske who is also buried here.

John Shipley/Shiple/Sheple probably lies in an unmarked grave next to his wife. (See informational photo on Rev. Fiske's page linked above and Note on the description of this cemetery...they both died before 1690, so their marking stones became part of the cemetery fence.)

JOHN Shipley and Ann (surname may have been Visher or Jackson, who were also aboard the Primrose and nearly the same age as John...you know, Titanic romance happens on long voyages).

John born c. 1587-1607, perhaps Failsworth England, landed in Virginia around 1635, then shows up in Salem/Wenham, MA in 1637 with land grant before relocating to Chelmsford. They were a part of Rev. John Fiske's church in Wenham before removing with him to Chelmsford in 1655 (see note on Rev. Fiske's headstone linked above)

John married Ann ____ about 1635
Conflicting account says they were married 15 Dec 1633 in England, but an Ann Shipley is not listed as a passenger among Primrose Ship records.
She was admitted to the church at Wenham 15 Aug 1648

CHILDREN:
John Jr. (1637-1694)
Lydia (1641-1710)(m. John Perham)
Nathaniel (b. 1639)
