Isaac E. Durham, retired founder of Durham Printing Co., died Saturday evening at the family residence, 400 Granville Ave., following an extended illness. Born in Maysville, Ky., he moved to Muncie as a child with his parents, Rev. and Mrs. Finley Durham. He and his wife, Adah, who survives, started Durham Printing in 1928 and were co-owners of the business with his brother, Phillips Durham, St. Petersburg, Fla.

He served with the Army in World War I and was a member of Moose Lodge 33, World War I Veterans, the Christian Church at Markle, and was past president of Muncie Organ Club.

Surviving besides his wife and brother are a sister, Mrs. Ruth Cunningham, Olive Hill, Ky., and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be conducted by Rev. Elmer Sollenberger in Meeks Mortuary at 3 p.m. Tuesday. Entombment will follow in Gardens of Memory mausoleum. Friends may call at the mortuary from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Monday and prior to services Tuesday.
