Leonard Noble died at the home of his son Cary, in Waldwick, on Thursday, Nov. 20, aged 86 years. He was born in Ohio on July 18, 1816.
He was married Sept. 18, 1840, to Elizabeth Kearns, and to this union two children were born William, who lives in Dayton, Ohio, and Mrs. Ann Woodmanse, of Kokomo, Indiana.
The wife died in Ohio, and Mr. Noble was married Feb. 5, 1853, to Lucinda Armitage.
They came to Wisconsin in 1856, and five children were born to them, Mrs. Edward Brewster (deceased), Elias of Marshfield, Mrs. Emiline Chesterfield of Chicago, Mrs. Samantha Campton of Fayette, and Cary of Waldwick.
The funeral took place on Sunday at 10 o'clock, with services in the Waldwick M.E. Church, conducted by Rev. George Brown. A family of honest industrious sons and daughters survive to cherish his memory.
