Bettie (sic) Mae Hillin Lovelace, 76.
Graveside services were held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday (May 3) in the Oak Lawn Cemetery in Rockdale. The Rev. Doug Springer officiating. She died Friday morning at Maor Oakes Nursing Home after a short illness.
Mrs. Lovelace was born May 24, 1909 in the New Salem Community to Jeff Davis and Maggie Ann Driggers Hillin. She and Clyde Lovelace were married in 1935, and he preceeded her in death.
She is survived by daughter, Sue Norman of Rockdale; a brother, Woodrow Hillin of Rye, four sisters, Thelma Weatherred of Dallas, Marie Buetow of Houston, Alice Williams of Lyons, and Buelah Schneebli of Rockdale. Also three grandchildren, Harold (Butch), Donald, and John Stanislaw, and three great-grandchildren.
Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
