LOVELACE, Clyde of Rockdale. Age 65. Died 2/2/1970 (Monday) at his home in Rockdale following a brief illness. Services held (Wed.) from Phillips & Luckey Funeral Chapel, Rockdale. Burial in Oak Lawn Cemetery in Rockdale. Rev. Millard Brown officiated. Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. He was BORN 10/24/1904 in San Gabriel, son of M/M. Jack Lovelace. Married Miss Bertie Mae Hillin on 9/15/1935. He worked for the Rockdale Water Dept. since 1946. SURVIVORS: Wife, Bertie Lovelace; son, Roland Lovelace of Austin; daughter, Mrs. Virginia Stanislaw of Cameron; 2 brothers, Willie and Howard Lovelace of San Gabriel; 2 sisters, Mrs. Hattie Wilson and Mrs. Bettie Harrison, both of San Gabriel and 6 grandchildren; SS Death Benefit on #453-26-7818. Benefits birthdate 10/30/1904.
