Erma Catherine Aits, 89, of Rippon, West Virginia, died Monday, May 30, 2011 in the Jefferson Memorial Hospital, Ranson, West Virginia.
Mrs. Aits was born July 15, 1921 in Harrisonburg, Virginia, the daughter of Boyd and Olia Swope Cline.
She was the owner of John's Family Restaurant.
She was a member of First Assembly of God, Winchester.
She married John William Aits in Harrisonburg, Virginia. Mr. Aits died in 1983.
Surviving is a daughter, Carolyn Sue Zirkle of Rippon, WV; three grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
A sister, Edith Messick and two brothers, Wilson Cline and Harold Cline preceded her in death.
A funeral service will be held 10:00 A. M. Thursday, June 2, 2011 at the Enders & Shirley Funeral Home Chapel, Berryville, VA with Rev. Robert Aits officiating. Burial will follow in Edge Hill Cemetery, Charles Town, WV.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 P. M. Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
