Elvin married Clarice on January 14, 1942. In 1951 Elvin and his wife moved to Spokane where they settled and raised their family. Initially he worked for Boise Cascade and then later retired from Riverview Terrace. As a retired man Elvin loved to camp and travel and then later took on the responsibility with his wife of helping to take care of grandchildren and great-grandchildren while their parents were at work. Elvin loved to give people a bad time and enjoyed dining out for socialization. He was a man of few words, but loved the Price Is Right and Wheel Of Fortune. However, his greatest love was his family and his wife. Elvin is survived by his daughter Evonne Edwards and son Ronald Vee, both of Spokane. He also has eight grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. Elvin is preceded in death by his wife Clarice, one brother and one sister, his son Arley, grandson Cory and most recently his great-granddaughter Lorissa.
