Mrs. Beatrice Cone, 86, died Friday, August 20, 2004 at her residence. She was a native of Bulloch County, and was a former member of the Brannon Methodist Church, while residing in Harlem, GA. She united with the New Hope Baptist Church, while residing in Harlem, GA. Campania.
She leaves to cherish her memories, two daughters, Elizabeth Cone Smoot (Mack, Jr.) Harlem, Ga., Shirley J. Eason, Detroit, Mich,; one son, Leonard Cone and Jackie Williams, Statesboro; twenty grandchildren, twenty six great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Cone will be held Tuesday, August 24, 2004 at 2 p.m. at Scarboro Grove Baptist Church, Portal with Rev. Larry Cone officiating.
The body will lie in state from 1 p.m. until the funeral hour. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
