Richard Lee Miller, 62, St. Joseph, (formerly of Gilman City, MO) passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2011.
He was born March 1, 1949 in Bethany, MO, the son of Charles William and Kathleen Mae (Magee) Miller.
Richard was a 1967 graduate of Gilman City High School and a 1971 graduate of Northwest Missouri State at Maryville. He served in the Army and was a member of the American Legion Post of Gilman City and VFW of St. Joseph. Richard was employed as a stockman in the dairy department at Wal-mart.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 sisters, Terry Francis and Janet Mailou and long time companion, Pansy L. McKenzie (1933-2006).
Survivors include his brothers and sisters, Kent (Connie) Miller, Excelsior Springs, MO, John (Debbie) Miller, Bellflower, Ca, Ruth (Randy) Hager, Chillicothe, MO, Louise (Joe) Bird, Gallatin, MO, Kathryn (Mark) Keithley, Hong Kong; brothers-in-law, Bill Francis, Clarinda, IA and Paul Mailou, Kempner, TX; aunts, Bonnie Magee, New Hampton, MO and Mildred Crabtree of Oregon.
