MANSON - Alvena M. Decker, 100, died on Sat. Mar. 5, 2011, at the Marian Home in Ft. Dodge. Funeral services will be held on Sat. Mar. 12 at 10:30 a.m. at Larson-Weishaar Funeral Home in Manson with visitation at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery in Manson.
Survivors include her daughter Gerita Lacina of Manson, IA; three grandchildren; five great grandchildren; nine great great grandchildren; sister Elaine (Dennis) Schemming of Brook Park, MN; sister-in-law Dorothy Steckelberg of Saint Cloud, MN.
She was preceded in death by her parents John Henry and Emma Johanna (Coleman) Steckelberg; her husband Gerald (1961); son Marvin (1994); grandson Bryan Baldwin; four sisters and two brothers.
