Esther E. Albers 77 of Breese died Monday July 18, 2005 at St. Joseph hospital in Breese.

She was born October 1, 1927 in St. Rose, IL to Anton and Louisa (Liening) Rosen: the preceded her in death.

Also preceded in death by brothers Sylvester and Harry Rosen, a sister Leonarda Wempe, father and mother –in-law John and Josephine Albers, sister-in-law Esther Rosen, brothers-in-law Leonard Damn, William Smith, Paul Peek, Bernell Loepker, Raymond Albers, August Renschen and Virgil Wempe.

She married Eugene Albers September 5, 1956 at St. Rose Church and he survives in Breese. Also surviving is a daughter Elizabeth "Betty" Guthrie of Breese, a son Robert "Bob" (Janice) Albers of Breese, 6 grandchildren Joseph, Jordan and Jacob Guthrie, Jessica (Fiancée Bret Grayling), Crystal and Joshua Albers, a brother C.J. "Bud" Rosen of East Peoria, sisters Gertrude Smith of Dupo, Julianna "Dolly" Damn of Peoria, brother-in-law Norbert (Ruth Ann) Albers of Beckemeyer, sisters–in-law Millie Renschen of Germantown, Dolores Peek of Aviston, Lucille (Marcel) Heimann of Aviston.

Esther was retired from St. Joseph Hospital as a nurses Aid after 25 years of service. Member of St. Dominic Church, Daughters of Isabella Precious Blood Circle 718, St. Joseph Hospital Auxiliary.

Funeral mass Thursday July 21, 2005 at 11 am at St. Dominic Catholic Church with Fr. Edward Schaefer officiating. Interment St. Dominic-St. Augustine Cemetery
