Mrs. Dodge was born Nov. 19, 1933, in Washington, D.C., and was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Juanita M. Wilfong Stansell.
She lived most of her life in the D.C. and Maryland area and moved to Harrisonburg three years ago. She was a registered nurse working in the D.C. area and also worked last at Camelot Hall Nursing Home. She was a member of the American Nursing Association, certified in psychiatric nursing, and a member of the Clifton Christian Assembly of God.
She is survived by a son, Lawrence Michael Dodge of San Clemente, Calif.; two daughters, Brenda Payne and Carol Kersey, both of Harrisonburg; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
The Rev. Ronald Hall will conduct the funeral 2 p.m. Sunday at the Kyger Funeral Home in Harrisonburg. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
