Graveside services for Wilburn Green (Rudy) Cook, 77, of Teague were held Thursday, Sept. 20, at 2 p.m. at the Frankston City Cemetery.
Mr. Cook died Tues., Sept. 17, in a Temple hospital.
He was born Sept. 29, 1923 in Frankston.
Mr. Cook served overseas during World War II in the U.S. Army Air Corps. He was a construction worker and a Baptist.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Alice Hurt Cook; a son, James Cook; and a daughter, Pamala Cook Sims.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Cheri Cook of Teague; a daughter and son-in-law, Kela and James LeFevre, of Robinson; a son-in-law, Raymond Sims of Athens; a sister, Grace "Sis" Newman of Katy; seven grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
