"Ted" Cook

Jacksonville - Services for Victor "Ted" Carlton Cook, 72, of Jacksonville, are set for 2 p.m. Saturday in Thompson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Randle Ford officiating. Burial will be in Frankston City Cemetery.

Mr. Cook died Thursday afternoon after a long illness, in a Frankston nursing home. He lived in Jacksonville for 20 years and was a retired carpenter. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was a Baptist.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lorenda May Cook of Jacksonville; one son, Charles R. Cook of New Summerfield; one daughter, Mrs. Caroline Lindsey of Mansfield; one brother, W. G. Cook of Teague; one sister, Mrs. Vernon Newman of Houston; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Steve Girault, Mike Cook, Mark Cook, Jasper Carroll, Jerry London and Curtis Clakley.
