OBITUARY
Mrs. Loye Murdock ENGLISH, age 89 of Kennard, passed away Monday, July 30, 2007 in the Whitehall Nursing Center in Crockett. Mrs. ENGLISH was born September 26, 1917 in Grapeland, Texas and had lived in Kennard most of her lifetime. Mrs. ENGLISH was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Crockett Chapter. Mrs. ENGLISH was a housewife and was also a member of the Community Full Gospel Church.
Survivors include her sons Reagan ENGLISH and wife Nell, of Lufkin, Rex ENGLISH and wife Ann, of Kennard, David ENGLISH and wife Vicki, of Beaumont; eight grandchildren Donald ENGLISH, Jimmy ENGLISH, both of Lufkin, Tod ENGLISH, Charles ENGLISH, both of Kennard, Tami McCREIGHT, of Crockett, Bryan ENGLISH, of Nederland, Chris ENGLISH, of The Woodlands, Robyn BREKEL, of Beaumont; 17 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Preceded in death by husband, Roscoe ENGLISH.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Loye Murdock ENGLISH were held Friday, August 3, at 10:00 a.m. in the Callaway-Allee Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Larry Bruce and the Rev. Gerald Ratcliff officiating. Interment followed in the Ivie Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions will be made to the American Cancer Society, 212 Gene Samford, Lufkin, TX. 75904.
