FRANCIS "FRANK" FUNK, 74, of Fort Wayne, died Monday, July 4, 2005, at Lutheran Hospital. Born in Hardin, Ind., he lived in Fort Wayne for the past 40 years and was a member of Faith Lutheran Church and Waynedale American Legion. He was a Master Sergeant in the Army from 1948 to 1968, then Allen County Probation Dept. as a probation officer.
Surviving are daughters, Debra "Deb" Funk of Fort Wayne and Sandra Malik of Zionsville; and grandchildren, Stephanie Malik, Stephen Malik and Michael Malik. He was preceded in death by his wife, Eva, in 1996; and daughter, Linda Funk.
Memorial service is 11 a.m. Sunday at Faith Lutheran Church, 1700 E. Pettit Ave. Family will receive friends immediately following the service. Arrangements by Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, Wayne Street Chapel, 420 W. Wayne St. Preferred memorials to Faith Lutheran Church.
