There was a ‘Red’ Baetge that worked at the Tungstor Mine off Blue Mountain Road during the late 30s and early 40s. Perhaps this is his child.
The Cemetery Board put the marker in sometime in the 1960s after the family left the area and it was apparent that they were not coming back to mark the gravesite. It is believed the child was a girl.
