Services for Joe Bradshaw, 88, of Lamesa will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Bryan Street Baptist Church with the Rev. Scott Meahan, pastor, officiating.

Burial will be in Gail Cemetery under the direction of Branon Funeral Home.

Bradshaw died Sunday, March 22, 1998, in Lamesa.

He was born Sept. 26, 1909, in Taylor County. He married May Ola Ledbetter on July 14, 1928, in Lamesa. She died Aug. 26, 1995. He moved to Borden County from Young County in 1938. He moved to Lamesa in 1976. He was a member of the Bryan Street Baptist Church for 25 years.

He served as a school trustee and election judge for Mesquite for many years. He served on the Farmers Home Administration Board of Directors.

Survivors include a son, Alvin of O'Donnell; two daughters, Margaret Ray of Big Spring and Dorothy Barrington of Lamesa; a sister, Iva Lee Chambers of Olney; eight grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
