"Margaret K. Rick, 89, Morrison, Illinois, died Wednesday, August 5, 1987, at Morrison Community Hospital. She was born October 2, 1897, in Morrison, the daughter of Robert J. and Grace C. Jurken Watt. She was married February 11, 1920, in Morrison, to George "Dickie" Rick. He died April 18, 1979.

She was educated in the rural White Side County Schools and attended the Morrison High School. She was amember of the First Presbyterian Church of Morrison, the church Missionary Society, and a member of the Rebekah Lodge of Morrison.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Dennis (Arlene) Burckholder, Morrison; a son, James Rick, Covington; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a sister, Luella Watt, Sterling, Illinois; and a brother, James Watt, Sterling. She was also preceded in death by two sons, a grandson and a brother.

Funeral services were at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home, Morrison, with the Rev. Alvin Hook officiating. Burial was in Grove Hill Cemetery, Morrison.
