Mabel Barber
Mabel A. Barber, 88, of 501 W. 3rd St., Davenport, was pronounced dead on arrival Wednesday morning at St. Luke's Hospital.
Services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Weerts/Hill & Fredericks Funeral Home, Davenport. Graveside services will be 3:30 p.m. Friday at the Numa, Iowa Cemetery.
Visitation is 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. today.
Mrs. Barber ws employed for over 20 years at Oscar Mayer Co., Davenport, until her retirement.
Mabel Cole married Sherman Stewart in 1908. He preceded her in death. Survivors include a daughter, Edith Harrison, Davenport; sons, Leonard Stewart and Paul Barber, both of Bettendorf; and Richard Stewart, Newton, Iowa; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a half-sister, Daisy Schmedeke, Newton.
