DEATH CLAIMS MRS. ANDREWS
Mrs. James W. Andrews Dies This Morning At Monroe Home

Mrs. Hattie May Andrews, 59, a life-long resident of Adams county and a resident of Monroe since 1904, died at her home in that place this morning at 8:35 o’clock.

Death was attributed to diabetes from which she suffered for a number of years, and a stroke of paralysis. Mrs. Andrew was a member of the Monroe Methodist church.

The deceased was born December 3, 1881, a daughter of Lewis and Ellen Beavers, Mills. She was married to James W. Andrews, who survives together with two sons, Brook of Gaines, and Roger of Sturgis, Michigan; two daughters, Mrs. Ida Isch of Kirkland township and Miss Ora Andrews of Fort Wayne, and nine grandchildren. A son and a daughter are deceased.

Other survivors include a sister, Mrs. Dessie Crawl of Lyons, Kansas; a stepmother, Mrs. Hattie Mills of this city; Half-sisters, Mrs. Frances Andrews of Angola; Mrs. Marvel Beery of Decatur; Mrs. Minnie DeVor of Rockford, Ill. One brother and half-sister are deceased.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at the home at 2:30 p.m. and at the Methodist church in Monroe at 2:45 p.m. Rev. Roy Hart, pastor of the church, will officiate. Burial will be in Ray cemetery.

The body will be taken from the Lobenstein funeral home to the home this evening and may be view there by friends and relatives.
