Enlisted on January 14, 1862, in Co. K, 21st Maine Infantry.

His father was from Maine and his mother from Northumberland County. All of their three children were born in Whitney. They moved to Maine circa 1860.

Residence Skowhegan, ME; 18 years old.
On 10/14/1862 he was mustered in. He died of disease.
